MEET BRETT

Brett is the true definition of self-determination and integrity. From the age of 7 Brett has been fascinated with motors of any kind. He is one of 4 kids that were solely raised by their strong-willed, “never-back-down, never-give-up” mother, Linda. She single-handedly provided for her family but, money was always extremely tight. Brett was the man of the house and it was his job to protect his sisters and help provide for them. He’s an expert at making the most out of what he has while being extremely grateful. Without a father around to show him the ropes, Brett had some challenges in front of him. That being said, it only made him stronger. Ask anyone who grew up in the neighborhood and they will tell you that Brett was ALWAYS working on something. Pulling a lawn mower engine to fabricate some kind of go kart or motorized bike is just one example. He was also known to tear apart a motor or two in the driveway just to learn about them and put them back together. “Brett Coast Customs!”, was the name his friends jokingly called his driveway. The whole neighborhood knew exactly where to go if they ever needed help.  Brett has always had to work harder and smarter, but he prefers it that way. If you were to ask him if he would do it any differently, he would tell you, “NOT A CHANCE!”. In fact, he swears the best way to learn and become successful is to get in there and get your hands dirty. Yeah, you are going to fail a time or two, but it’s about what you do after you’ve failed, that counts! Because he refused to quit and stayed standing against all odds, Brett is now an ASE certified Heavy Duty Technician, Certified Welder, and proud Owner of Top Notch Fleet Service! Brett can fully relate to his customers who are sometimes down on their luck with little in their pocket and a huge mountain to climb. He has 15 years of experience and is as humble and gracious as they come. It’s going to be quite a challenge to find a more knowledgeable, down-to-earth, patient, and honest mechanic any where else. The quality of his work will NEVER be compromised regardless of the time or effort needed to achieve perfection.
